Mr. Steven Surfas is the Principal of this company and he has had extensive business background in several business industries since he was six years old starting with labeling and stocking .15 cents food trays in a brand new, (back in late 1980’s) nearly 30,000 square feet industrial property at 10441 Jefferson Blvd. Culver City, CA 90232 which was sold to Guess Inc. (It was recently sold in October 2022 for $28,700,000 or $1,087 PSF.) Since then, several large acquisitions took place. I did not focus on where to label the trays and how high I should stack them, it was my natural instinct to focus on the looks and feel of working in a warehouse space, showroom, executive office space overlooking the beautiful, new warehouse space. It was one of the best new industrial buildings in West Los Angeles if not all over Los Angeles at the time. Although it was the best building in the area, I still thought of ways to improve the property. My passion in commercial properties started right under that roof and it will continue for several decades. Prior to forming this company, I worked and learned in family business as a third-generation restaurant supply business owner, a fortune 500 company in Florida, a nine-digit revenue management company at one of the world’s landmarks, and at one of the top MBA programs in world, my heart has had been set in commercial real estate on daily basis.
Mr. Surfas is an alumnus of Pepperdine Unversity Graziadio Business School MBA program and Loyola Marymount University Undergraduate both in Finance. He is married with three children and lives in Coto de Caza, California. He enjoys golf, ski, tennis, travel, and time with family.
